The group classes I teach are a mixture of Hatha yoga, Slow and Gentle Flow and Subtle Yoga inspired yoga.
I teach breath centred classes where we move gracefully, with awareness between poses. This helps to move energy and unlock stiffness or tightness in the bodymind. You will also explore what alignment feels like for you and how you can balance a sense of effort and ease in the asana throughout the class .
Among the many benefits of yoga, relaxation is key to helping us maintain health and well being. All of my group classes end with a guided relaxation.
My classes are a mixture of age and ability and are open to everyone. If you are new to yoga I will be able to help you learn the basic poses alongside those who have been practising for a while. I offer lots of ways of modifying poses so that they suit everyone and encourage my students to make their own changes depending on how the pose feels for them in the moment.
